Through diary entries, Miranda tells the story of struggle and survival when a meteor strikes the moon and changes life on Earth forever.
Miranda doesn’t believe warnings about a meteor that’s headed on a collision path with the moon. Her disbelief turns to fear in a split second, as the world witnesses a lunar impact that knocks the moon closer to the Earth, causing worldwide tsunamis, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and a flu epidemic. As summer turns to an arctic winter almost overnight, Miranda and her family retreat to the unexpected safe have of their sunroom–subsisting on stockpiled food and with limited water and electricity. This is the story of Miranda’s attempts to hold on to the most important resource of all–hope.
